Dead or alive 5

It was a bit bizarre and uncharacteristically heartfelt, as you're about to see in the video below (via Gatoray_). The announcement came as part of a pre-recorded developer message that featured a number of developers on the team thanking fans for all of their support. But, it did confirm that we won't be hearing from the team in sometime, as they figure out the next move. The reason for this is that Team Ninja is moving on, and looking to the future, though the developer didn't say what that actually means. Over the weekend, at the Battle Royal 2017 Grand Finals at NEC18, Dead or Alive developer Team Ninja announced that it's wrapped up work on Dead or Alive 5, effectively ending support for the game as far DLCs, patches and so on.

Team Ninja's big Dead or Alive teaser, which we thought could be teasing a Dead or Alive 6 announcement, turned out to be quite the opposite.
